I have the 2011 ones right now not the 2012, havent used them yet but from what i heard i should have a really crappy ski in store for me. Is this true?

They will be really good for 2 weeks then they will just delaminate and your edges will crack and then your top sheets will chip and you'll be pissed. And then you'll blow up

honestly, they should hold up just fine. There are a lot of people on this website in particular that like to hate on salomon's durability, but really the suspect only had serious durability issues during the first 2 generations. the durability issues have been thoroughly resolved, and the only reason you should get unnessecary edge cracking is if you don't detune your edges before you ski. When you don't detune an edge before hitting rails, the edge digs in harder, causing more friction, more stress on the edge, and ultimately an edge crack. This will happen with every ski you buy, you simply have to detune rail skis. All topsheets on sidewall constructed skis will chip quite a bit, but really, I think you will be just fine, especially if you are relatively new to the park. Don't listen to the hate; half of the people don't know what they're talking about.

I ignored the hate about them and so far I'm happy about it. First of all the ski itself rides amazingly, it is fast and fun, very snappy. As soon as you step into them you want to charge. As for the durability, having only ridden it a few times so far I can't say too much yet, but I detuned the edges underfoot some, and after about 15-20 rails i see no damage. Granted this isn't much use, but still from the people on here you'd think they would spontaneously combust on the first rail. I think you'll be fine if you detune them underfoot, all park skis get damaged, it is what it is.

Yeah I just detuned my suspects and dulled the edges under my foot where I grind. I'm thinking most of the kids on this site haven't even tried suspects, because if they were so bad it wouldn't be a popular ski and no sponsor riders would want them.
