Hey, my friend is looking for some new bindings to mount onto his volkl v pros. He was looking at either the soloman st912 or the look p12 bindings. We are wondering which one you guys think is better and why. What are the major differences. By the way he skis mainly park but a little powder once in a while, not sure if that makes a difference, and he weighs 150.

id say go with the looks.

get the looks.

to whoever says that salomons are safer than looks is an ignorant fuck.

your friend won't regret it.

ok, so it seems like the salmomons are lighter but the looks are safer...

my 912's work fine, i've heard the titanium ones are not as durable as the plain ones which is fairly ironic.....if you ride salomon skiis get their bindings because it extends the ski warrenty but other than that the looks are sweet too....

I havent tried looks but i had salomon ti's and they always popped off when i landed switch or went for a mute. Even with my dins cranked up on the front.

The people who tell you that salomons release when they're not supposed to probably don't have them set up right. They're both good bindings, I'd say get the cheaper one.

^thats a good call. on bindings so similar why not save yourself a bit of money.

I feel bad for people who don't drink, cause when they wake up in the morning, thats the best the're going to feel all day

bindings are for losers

Then you're talking about a binding that is comparable to an S914, and a totally different price range.

Axial 120s or 110s or even 100s would work.

If they don't pre-release then you don't have to crank your din... I'm running 6 I think and it's money.

funny cuz i own both of these bindings. i'v got the 912's on my v pros they're my jib skis and that binding has performed just like i wanted it to. then i'v got the p12 on my pe's, haven't skied them yet but theres some potential there

Get the looks. More elastic travel=less prerelease with lower din settings. and the look jib bindings look great. And theyre more reliable and break less from what I hear.

looks definitely
