I was just wondering if anyone else is having problems with these boots cause mine are really screwing up my lower shins. Does anyone have any advice to help me out???

prolly best off going to the shop you got fitted at and see if they can help you out, not much you can really do on your own end, some are going to suggest booster straps and everything but the shop might have some better work they can do.

i got my soles switched and it fixed it for me

if the boot was fitted properly, 9 out of 10 problems can be remedied by getting custom footbeds made.

Do you work at Surefoot or something?  Footbeds in most cases will only make subtle differences.  Most of it is just placebo, I just spent $180 on these, of course they feel great.

I actually work in relation with SUREFOOT... If you think that custom

footbeds make only subtle differences, your wrong. They make all the

bones in your foot aligned properly; therefore your balance, edging,

circulation, and most of all comfort is increases drastically. You

should find more information on what your talking about before you base

your opinions...

So back to the thread, Custom footbeds can help your shinbang problem.

They hold your foot better in your boot so there is less "play" inside

your boot...

Footbeds really aren't going to do much at all for shinbang, booster straps and boot work around the toungue will make a much larger difference.  There may be less play in the lower boot, but there will still be almost as much play in the upper boot which will cause the shinbang.  Don't let them sell you multiple hundred dollar footbeds for shinbang, that is just throwing money at the wrong solution.

Surefoot reminds me of chiropractors. sure they have limited knowledge and some minor skill.  But what they offer is way overpriced compared to results they give out.  "It aligns the bones in your foot" I am sure every footbed is made to perfectly align your bones and make your foot completely efficient, right.  Can you fill the description with even more broad, beneficial blather that can't be easily quantified to make a sale?

Yea, I think they're going for $210-50 range. I know that they won't fix shinbang, that's obvious, but it can definitely help...

Also if you are tall like me with small feet it helps to raise the spoiler in the back of the boot.  Just drill a hole in it that allows you to raise it another inch or so,

To everyone else who was havimg problems, i put the strap underneath the top buckle and it helped a lot!

It wasn't in the park that they have been hurting! It was everywhere. Also it is a lot lower down than normal shin bang!
