Salomon skis...

I bought some dumont like 1 month and a half ago and they are chipping everywhere, my edges are all craked up ... sucks also one of my sth 14 binding is broken. yeah!

^ he doesn't mean to be hard probably, but salomons skis in recent years haven't been holding up so well for lots of people.

Ya since salomon went with their new sidewall stuff their skis have been just crumbling as soon as you hit a rail.

most sandwich construction skis with vertical sidewall will chip, especially if you're sliding-- kinda the way things go with that constuction...

only salomon's ive owned recently that I didn't completely destroy are the Shoguns, but they're capped and I wasn't jibbing with them.

For 2011 K2 is coming out with a new twintech construction that rolls the top material ino the sidewall...we'll see how that works
