just purchased and skied on some s912 ti's and cracked the titanium plate in the heel... now i have 2 send them in2 salomon... and wait 3 months 4 new ones... save yourself time money and a headache! don't get 'em s914 suck 2!

wow thanks man i was about to get those shiity as bindings but then i realized look pivots are where its at. So many people trash that s912 on here, so anyone thinkin of gettin em DONT DO IT get p12s. From ive heard u always hav to loosen the wing on the toe which sux i mean i hav old 850s and they loosen a lot.

i beat the shit out of my s712, i think thats what they r, and they haven't broken so i don't expect my s912 ti to break.

the wings on my 912 ti's always come loose, does anyone know wut causes this?, im in the process of trying to get new ones from salomon hopefully

 
how would it be my boot though, i tighten them before i go skiing, and they come loose after a few runs. i dunno ill just see what salomon has to say, i just think its kinda weird, its not a huge problem but it just gets kinda of annoying having to tighten them alot

 
I picked up some 900s Equipe... all metal, so that should solve the loose wing problem. A lot of people have had issues with the 912 toepiece.

i've heard of soo many heal problems with the salmon bindings, also the toe peices love to come loose to the point you are tighting them every time you go out. go with look.

first of all, the piece you broke is aluminum, not titanium. second, it doesn't take three months, it takes more like three weeks, and there won't be any good snow til then anyway

i broke that shit twoce in a season, ill never buy those stank ass bindings ever again, and they dont replace the bindings just replace that plate, better off with rossi/look..

i didn't care how easy it was to adjust my toe wing it was something i don't want to have to do every time i ride. also how can you say the markers are test prefct every time? they pre release i don't know what so perfect about that. I've never heard of a pair of Look race bindings breaking so please fill me in on any breaking/failing problems with the P14.

I did the same thing. I am not sure how, but one day when I got home, the whole piece underfoot was cracked out and gone. I will never get Salomon bindings again.

As I said, I broke 2 toepieces last year. This is because they are plastic. However, I wasn't hurt at all, which is the real test as far as bindings go. Still, they do break. I'm all for look/rossi, I think they're the best binding on the consumer market, but they aren't totally indestructible... just less breakable than most alternatives. If you really want something tough to break, you need an all metal binding. Look ZR or something.

haha ther was like 7 posts by this one guy now they are all gone. thanks for the input on the Look race bindings, i agree if you want near unbreakalbe binding get the Zrace but i don't ride hard enought to break the toe peice like that and if i do well fuck i'll get the zrace but till then no worries.
