Salomon s900 questions!

if i can get a pair of salomon s900's used for fairly cheap should i buy them and put them on my scratches insted of my 914's? they are the older s900's. what are your guys thoughts on these bindings?

I think they're kind of like s916's, heavy and metal. But I could be wrong.

yea they are a full metal binding...its a race stock...i juss dont kno if i should give up my 914's for them or wat. i mean im pretty hard on my binders i have broke a few pairs and stuff.

how much can u get them for. i usually see mad cheap older bindings on CL, but no one ever wants to take them off the skis and ship them to me.

s900 are better than s914s to begin with.

if they are race stock s900, sell the s914 and mount the s900.

if your 914s are already mounted, id say stick with those, they are a good binding, if not, it doesn't matter, if you think you can get a decent price selling the 914s, do that.

bottom line, no use in remounting if the 914s are on the skis.

well they are mounted allready but they are the same hole pattern...

i work for a ski shopw and we are doing swaps like everyweekend now and there is allways some older skis with like racestock s900's on them they are in good condition for like 25 bucks...so i juss take the skis and throw them away and keep the binders.

wat about salomon driver 997s

if the 997s are the higher DIN metal ones, your fine. I wouldnt trust the lower din versions though

what is the difference between the 997's and the s900s? i kno that they make 2 differnt s900's i belive with differnt dins.

if you happen to stumble upon any ok condition bindings with a DIN 12 and up that you don't want, could you tell me. i'm looking for something cheap for urban.
