I am thinking about getting the Rocker2 100's and am 1. trying to decide on the length (either 170 or 178) and 2. trying to choose a binding for them (Rossi FKS 120/140? Any other suggestions?). I am 16, 5'11" and weigh about 160. I want it to be a decent all mountain ski but I mostly ski off pitse and in the trees and moguls a little bit. In addition I may want it to venture into the sidecountry a little bit. Any help would be really appreciated.
 
good choice op, they sound exactly what you want, but of course ive never ridden them. and for length, 178 all day man, youll appreciate the extra surface area and stability
 
You might even size up if you can. I'm 5'7 and would take 178 at least with skill and rocker amount.
 
If my current din is an 8-9 is getting a binding that only goes up to 12 not enough if I want to turn it up in the future?
 
Like everything you've got going on OP. Id be on the orange binding crew if I were you! and 178. Mount it at -2. Rocker 2 100 is a super fun whip!
