Salomon Recall on Quest Boots

Was going to put this in GearTalk but figured more pepole will see it here. One person was messed up when the tech fittings on the new quest boots ripped out while he was skiing. Luckly it does not look like that many Quest's are out there yet. Heres the link to the info on Lou's site...

insert a link wasnt working but a sad story for sure

on a side note I had to return my Tecnica Agent AT because they have the same soles. Bolts kept stripping out or falling out the soles but luckily I would notice this before anything serious.

to make the most stressed part (toe and heel piece) of the boot be removable is ridiculous..even with all the bolts holding the sole to the boot I could notice the toe piece flexing away from the boot. I'm surprised this hasnt happened to Tecnica

ya all other traditional dynafit inserts are well into the solid plastic not above a insert ect...
