anyone know if the 2012s are good press skis because i love solomons and want to know if the pro pipes and 2012s are anygood for pressing and still good on jumps bumps for +k and any links to good prices

Pro Pipes are a pipe ski, so theyre very stiff, not good for buttering unless youre really heavy

2012's on the other hand are pretty soft with rocker. I've never ridden them, but i did see a video of a guy at mammoth ollieing almost 3 feet from flat snow onto a rail, so they're pretty damn poppy. softer skis with rocker are usually good for pressing as well

2012's would do good but pro pipes are a really stiff ski, check out evo. and don't just ask new schoolers do some research.

i did but just thought newschoolers would probably help more it already has and the only reason ive but out the propipes is because they are the only other good salomon ski

EVERY armada ski is amazing its hard to choose.they are all super durable aswell

ar7= great all mountain ski that can do anything. good for rails jumps and groomers.

halo/alpha =rockered more progressive shape. SUPER fun. ski shorter. rocker allows easy buttering. crazy pop

the halo is flexier with a s7 base while alpha is a tinnny bit stiffeer with a race bace

thall=more of a standard cut but very buttery. my friend has em and they are awsome

im on alpha 1s right now. id highly recommend looking into them.

once you go armada you cant go anything else

if your buying skis based on being able to do presses better, id buy 2012's i ride them, super butterey, butters like nothing, i also ride thalls but they are not as fun as my 2012's.
