Salomon or atomic? witch is better for over all park skiing?

hey!I'm looking into buying a pair of salomon or atomic park skis, I'm not sure witch one to go with. i know there are multiple salomon park skis if there is one that you think is better than the atomic park ski or if the atomic ski is better than the salomon skis please tell me thanks!

Dam, you are not lucky. I have too friend whit the punx and they hold up pretty well. Did your tried to warranty them ? Btw OP i have the old dumont and im on my third season on them, but i ski them like 1/2 because. So bases on your choice : salomon 2012 if you want a one quiver ski, suspect for one of the best ski ( can last a seson or a week, its a hit or miss), pro pipe ant say much. Atomic : punx are really nice, soft and pretty light ( but seem not to be pretty durable according to gabski) , patent (95 mm underdoot) bever ride them but they look nice. Btw you shoul say what you want to do, park ? Groomers? Trees? Rail? Jumps ? And if you want a stiff or a soft ski

salomon has super shitty durability so i would go with atomic out of those two. look into line too, they make legit skis. i love my blends

i love my punx to death, but they have a major problem. the edges are way too thin. their about half as thick as the edges on my previous park skis. this does cut weight, but after 2 days of park skiing i have 4 edge cracks. topsheet and base durability is prime. everything is epic about this ski, but the edges. they dont look like theyre gonna rip out, so the cracks dont really matter, but on my coreupts, after 1 season i had less cracks in the edges.

the weight of this ski is also amazing. it was lighter than the alpha 1 in 176 punx in 182. the flex is super. nice and soft but alot of pop and not noodly. i love carving on this ski and will ski it until it falls apart and probably buy it again. best park ski i ever owned.

i would still consider the suspects. i ride them and i am very light, like you, so im guessing youre not as hard on skis as a guy whos 200 pounds. i have had no problems with them so far, and ive ridden them on park days about 10 days so far. youre pretty light, but if you have been rough on skis in the past then maybe not.

witch is good at park skiing?

Look at the 2012, great ski and good durability. The new suspects are very very good too, but they may break depending on how many rails you hit.

the suspects will fall apart guaranteed. i had a pair that broke, got it warenteed with the next years ski, then that broke. so yea don't get suspects

salomon has made great skis for years, and the suspect is no exception... for the first two months. but seriously i've had two pairs of them and neither have been able to make it through a full season before being completely destroyed to the point of being unridable.
