My grandma breaks Salomons when she does wormturns on them, so ofcourse they are doing something wrong.

^^WORD. Dude, thank god someone in here can see this gossip for what it is. The Pocket Rocket kicks major ass. The 1080, not so much. But I don't think anyone should be lumping all foam core skis into the 'garbage' category.

I don't think Salomon has any problems people. If you dislike their current product, they're going to find out about it. And since they have a HUGE amount of resources, they will find out what people like and they will make it.

This may be just semantics but, I think FAR more riders were let go/released/not re-signed, than left on their own accord. It's clear to me that Salomon wants a COMPETITIVE Teneighty team. If you're not competing, hurt too often, etc. you're out. Exception being Candide who was considered too costly; and Sarah's deal, with the clothing tie-in, was a little too complicated.

salomons are the best skiis out there so they must be something wrong but i dunno....and i cant wait for the new skiis to come out any one got pictures of em i wanna buy them

salomon would probly do fine even without their twin tip models from their racing stuff, but seriously. the 1080 was like the first mass produced twin tip. so i doubt they will ever die

 
I hate to say it, but sammy c is a lot better than most pros i see in movies. I ride up in hood so im forced to watch him kill everything. But yeah everyones team is going thru some changes.

i personnaly hate salomon skis, i had a pair last year and the edge peeled off under the binding after 2 months. the exact same thing happend to two of my friends

 
k here i will put it this way i love salomon skis some people prefer other skis i dont think there doing anything wrong theres just lots of other ski companys so yah

 
there are alot of band wagon haters on here , but the 1080 just feels weird , u have to size it up real big to have the same feeling as one that fits u
