Salomon Making 1080s again?

I did a search before posting but my searching skills ain't what they wear. Makes me think they were released to team riders in Europe for the last few years.
 
Lol was just abt to post sumn about this. Hopefully its a good sign that they'll actually get released next season if Nico's posting with em again.

Last time he posted about them was with remco in 2019
 
They should remake the X scream while they are at it. These were my OG Alpental slaying tool many years ago

Nah, that row of skis is holding up unknown amounts of junk stuffed in garage rafters lol It's been at least a decade since I've even owned a boot that those bindings are adjusted for. Idk if i'd trust em nowadays. Who knows what kinda abuse cap skis undergo when stored in a garage that swings from 110 to -10 degrees over over the years

I snapped my first pair of X screams on a backseat landing lol the ones in the photo were the newer ones that Salomon warrantee’d for me. Same deal though I demoed the 1080 at Hood one summer in like 8th grade and was super into them but when it came time to buy new skis my dad was like, do you want to be stuck with these toy trick skis or do you want to be able to ski the backcountry like a man? Different times for sure
