Salomon kaid problems

Hey NS, i got my salomon kaid with the bigest size available, because kaid is junior sized so there isn't to big of a size range (don't know which size it is, boots is at the cellar) and i've used them for 2 winters, first winter they were to big ; last winter they where to small.

To the point, they have been pressuring my shins very hard when i skii, after like 1 week of skiing it causes textiles to my shins and i have problem landing jumps/rails because of the serious pain.

Shall i buy a new pair of SPKs this winter? I've heard their different to the kaids because they have damping to the shins and the whole feet.

What really made me interested was all the damping material in them so i ask you guys, are they any good? Any other suggestions?

the kaid is barely a boot. it's designed for a kid who weighs nothing to ski on for a couple seasons max, which don't get me wrong, it's great for it's purpose, but if you weigh more than a hundo, you should have something better.

either way, go to a boot fitter, because there's a decent chance the spk isn't the best boot for you (it's wide as fuck, and don't tell me you have wide feet, i won't believe you, everyone thinks that their feet are wide) but ya, unless you're under a hundred pounds or a really basic skier, you should be in a better boot, you'll feel better and ski better.

I got some spks,I haven't skied them yet but I don't think shin bang will be an issue at all. I Heat molded them and they are pretty comfy.

Well that's awesome news for me!

I'll definately buy a pair of new boots this winter then :) I'll go see a bootfitter but to the stores i've went to they havent really helped. Only felt where my toes where and then i was good to go basically.

Im 5'8" and 125 pounds.

And i wouldn't call myself a great skier but im good in the slopes, 270 off most of the rails and 360 on most of the reds, baisc gaper grabs on the black jumps hehe, but i've allways loved skiing and started going park seriously last winter.

ask around and try to see where there's a good boot fitting shop, because if they put you in the liner to see if the boot fits, they don't know shit about shit.
