Salomon has rivets???

I just saw Olenick's 1080's for next year and it looked like they had rivets in them like the PE's. Thats pretty bullshit to copy k2 like that so blatently.

yeah, the team riders need rivets to keep the skis from delaming until they get away from the cameras, and then the skis explode

well olenick was riding the salomon candide's and there was rivits in them. so maybe the rivits or just for the pros. just a thought

Maybe they just did it themselves. I know a lot of salomon riders on my Mt. just put them in with a rivit macnine things.

people have been riveting skis since way before K2 did it...all the cool kids at hood have riveted salomons.

ill be super rich and own mt.hood and let everybody from ns ski for free... except freezed

I know what you are talking about, at slopestyle but they are do it yourself with a rivet machine, salo isn't putting them out that way.

 
negative Olenick DEFINITELY had candides in slopestyle...the 'rivets' are prob just stick on you can get them from dakine.

the rivits are sometime pete did himself. salomon dose not put any rivits in any of there skis for next year. the foils are dope as shit and they ride really nice.

 
alot of people rivet their tips if they need to so they dont delam....and to whoever said it was lame to copy k2..its not a style thing man..they actually serve a purpose believe it or not...and k2 wasnt the first to rivet tips anywho

just skied them today! fucking sweet ski- the tip is kind of ulgy with the shape of it though-

i'll still be skiing ARMADA's next year though

 
k2 started putting rivets in their skis, but it was a good idea so why not let other companies do it.

Yes the rivets are a good idea, but some companies are doing the exact same thing as we did. Kinda lame, but whatever. There are more ways than small cilindrical rivets to hold tips and tails together.

The Salomon's DO NOT have rivets. It was just done by each specific rider as stated above.

 
my 1080s have rivets in them, as did my old 1080s. i did it myself, so my skis dont fall apart any more than they already are.
