Salomon Ghost Max 130 vs Ghost FS 100

So is the Ghost Max 130 a similar shape sort of to the Xmax series..? I have tried on them and hated them because I have a very sensitive instep and my feet tend to not feel too good under a 100 last. I would love the 130 flex but it seems like the 100 has a higher instep and is a 100 last.

Does anybody know what kind of foot would fit comfortably into the Ghost Max 130?

The difference between Ghost Max 130, X-Max, and Ghost FS is negligible. Ghost FS is labeled as a "100mm" boot but it comes out of the X-Max mold series (98mm). And I would say that all of them are quite low over the instep compared to most other boots in the same fit category.

For the same forefoot width, Atomic tends to be a bit more generous over the instep than Salomon in general. So if a Salomon X-Pro 130 (their 100mm boot) feels good except the instep, then try on a Hawx 2.0 130 (our 100mm boot).

Have you gone to a boot-fitter who will assess your foot and biomechanical needs to make sure you get the right boot?

as one nerdy has said, you should go to a bootfitter, or a local shop that really knows their shit. i would also second his suggestion of the hawx 2, also the k2 spyne has a similar fit, but is less available as the hawx.
