alright guys the title says a lot,not really but anyways, the Salomon Gangster suit looks sick and ive seen a lot of threads saying that it looks gay and that it is too long for the jacket. i was wondering how all of you on NS felt,i really think im going to get this suit but from all of the people that say the back is super long and the jacket is too big,it sounds kinda lame. i cant find any other pictures besides the one on NS and in a video, here it is,let me know how you feel.

i just wanna know what everyone thinks,i dont wanna have it super long even though thats how i wear my stuff and someone said the back goes to a point like a cape/bandana and idk if id like that..

dude just get what ever you want. if you like it get it. there will always be people who dislike it (like me)

Same as the others realy. Although you could wait until more pictures/ it's released to decide if your gonna get it.

Its a really dope suit, but do you really wanna look like Charles Gagnier and Henrik Harlaut? They rep it pretty hard, so unless you're much better at skiing then I imagine you to be (sorry) then I think anyone who's in the know will call you out for that.

um i saw it like in person and yes the back hangs down farther than the front and its super long and it has a pole holder and it has bling salomon logos and it has a fur hood. call it lame, but i think its fuckin dope

I'm getting it. And the back does come to a point but it can be removed or folded up (not sure which) as henrik demonstrates in his joss edit if you pay close attention.

i got the jacket and the pants, and its sooooooooo sick. All the feedback ive got from people on the mountain, including older people, was that my jakcet was really nice looking, or really sick. plus its fukin long, and its much more comfy than any other jaket. I have a large, im 5'10 and the bottom of my jakcet is at my knees, and the tail on the behind touches my leg.

I didnt know you outer wear had to match your skiing ability. If you think the jacket looks sick then buy it.

It doesn't, but the stereotype on that outfit is Charles Gagnier and Henrik, so people who see it will expect him to shred like them...just sayin

Dude, why the hate? I was giving my opinion! Its not my fault that I'm at least sem-knowledgeable about the ski industry. It is a sick suit, I'll give him that, but I wasn't trying to be mean when saying its a reminder of Charles and Henrik. Charles wore it at the X-games, and Henrik wore it at JOSS.

You don't know me. How can you call me a pro-whore? I don't grovel at Simon Dumont or shine TJs shoes! But I do know who they are, and I've seen them in videos, so its not my fault that I can 1) see, 2) remember, and 3) recall. Hot damn, someone's got they're panties in a bunch...

Alright fuck this, I'm talking to 12 year olds. Whatever.

To the thread creator: Buy whatever the fuck you want. My and other people's opinions shouldn't have that much of an effect on you. Your mother doesn't dress you, neither should we.

I can see where Blondie is coming from though. The pre-release of this jacket to pros and sponsored Ams have given this jacket some what of a "reputation" or status symbol this past season. Some may not agree, some others may see it that way, but thats what it kind of was this past winter/spring. Its just kind of a current phase of perception of the suit that will fade away.

Lets look at the pipecleaners, its what the "pros" use more or less, but if you see a 15 year old or something ride up on them, are you gonna be expecting him to be able to throw down a switch cork or something cool? More than likely not.

So since this next season hasn't even kicked off, this suit i think is still viewed as used in special company. But as the season progresses the view of this suit will be just another consumer good. its already starting now.

Good call, thanks bro. You're right, I could've thought of all the other "pro" products. Thank you
