we have them at evo Village Sports in Whistler. I've got 6 pairs of 180s and 4 pairs of 170s coming in the next few days. We do not ship.

I've got some QST 106s. Worth getting these as park skis or should I wait for a narrower version of the Depart or some other park ski?

Curious as to what the price point on them will be. What are you guys selling them at?

They're in Whistler Village and only have a handful of pairs coming in. They don't need to bother with shipping.

well it's not about being "bothered", we also only have a handful of pairs, but why not stoke out those who aren't able to get to shops carrying them considering extremely few shops will carry them (and none really in the midwest/east)?

Good point. It's so sick that you guys will ship, thats a great move to keep the stoke high and it's what I would do personally.

I also don't blame a place for not shipping if they don't need to- it does take time that could be spent in person with customers in the shop, and shop space which could be used for storage or tuning instead.
 
Glad I bought some Bacon 108s considering how stiff the production model of these apparently turned out to be. Still want to try them

Just ordered a pair of Departs.

Been looking for something fun allmountain around 100mm that can also carve well. Ill try them out on saturday.

If you buy cut two pairs in half and glue them together to make them longer.

Who the fuck is skiing a 170? Why is that one of the two sizes. Im pretty sure that the Salomon team is entirely made up of ANTS

Most of the people I see skiing day to day are between 5'5" and 5'10" intermediate skier, the exact demographic who should be on around a 160-170.

I disagree, they're kinda tight. Irrelevant though because they will keep the boots attached to the skis just fine.
 
Rode them today they are much stiffer underfoot than what they look. Super smeary and buttery
 
Im skiing tomorrow, and Im pretty sure it will be very hard groomers. Will be interesting to se how they carve.

Yeah they are really stiff when handflexing:)

be patient with them, in the roof box review twig said they weren’t super intuitive right away but he got used to them over a couple days.

I saw a 14yr this year on OG 1080s and told him to name his price, he looked me dead in the face and said “my dad said there would be people like you, he’d kill me if I sold them”

Couldn’t even be mad

the construction looks so simple from the cross section, just a thick slab of wood. Aside from the little sliver of metal its hard to even make out the fiberglass or any vds foil though im sure its in there.

I found a pair of OG 1080's in good condition for 100$, should I buy them?
