Salomon boots - which to get

Which of the salomon boots would you get and why? There website sucks and provides very little information on each boot.

I will be in them at least 100 days this season and need something that will last but still be comfterable and not overbuilt.

Some of my buddy's "Pro models" got pretty shredded in one season, the leather was ripped, tore, and missing.

I like how the Ghosts have rubber on the bottom, would work well when on sleds, how stiff are they really? Race boot stiff?

What are your thoughts on each? Ghost, ShoGun, Pro, Kreation, and Kaos.

The last boot I was in was a race boot that was race stock from Technica, it was a bit to stiff but tough.
 
Ghosts this year are a 130 flex - accordingly to a friend, they are softer than a Nordica 130 but stiffer than the Agent 130.

I've only been on them two days, but really like how stiff and responsive they are without being super restrictive. Of course that probably has to do more with fit, but I tried on the Krypton Pros and felt like someone was sawing off my feet. Those with the stiffest tongue available would be a 140 flex.

The two-buckle approach on the Ghost seems to be working out very well ... really only have to undo one buckle on the lift. The liner is snug but surprisingly comfortable.

Coming from race boots that felt too stiff, I think you might be pleased with these if you're between a C/D width and don't have super huge calves. I don't have any experience with the other Solly boots you mentioned.
 
the salomon boots u listed have soo many differences, what kind of skiing are u gunna be doing? u mentioned sleds, are u gunna be in some BC? there for u might wanna check out the ghost, because of the stffer flex, i think the shogun is a 100 flex, so its not super stiff, so it would be alot better for all mountain, the ghost fits pretty much the same way as the falcon boot from salomon which is a very low volume fit boot, its gunna fit like a race boot in that case, i could be wrong but it might be a 98mm last. if ur gunna ask about all those boots give us some more info on what type of skiing u will be doing, ur weight also.
