Salomon bindings

dont buy salomon bindings!! i got a pair at the end of last season and there terrible...already had to bring them in 3 times to get them fixed

The only problem I've had with my Sth14s is brakes getting fucked up on switch releases.
2nd season on the same pair, holding up fine.

All my friends who have them have broken their brakes and one of them cracked the metal plate for the heel piece. So in my opinion I would get Rossignol or markers. I have rossignols and haven't had a problem yet and their five years old.

pretty much what everyone above just said, dont waste money they are more expensive just cause of the brand and they break pretty easily. Have them on a pair of skis and the brake is busted and the heel piece came off last time i skied them

my sth14's have been holding up fine. i skied on them all last season and up till now this season.

I also have some sth16's on my other pair which have been great for 3 seasons. I have seen them break down but i guess ive been getting lucky because ive had no problems with mine....

holy shit the exact same for me.

i landed switch on only a 25 footer or so and my binding came off imediately, the break dug into the ground and ripped off and there went my ski all the way down the hill. also the breaks bend almost everytime they fall off, its awful

I dont really have any experience with salomon, but from what I've been hearing on the forums it seems like the only really good thing that salomon makes is boots. Please correct me if I'm totally wrong.

i'm pretty content with salomon bindings, at least the STH series. if you're looking for some, i have a pair of new STH16 for $200 shipped.

I've had no issues and have never heard of issues with STH's.

And on top of it, Salomon has a 5 yrs warranty so you can't go wrong.
