Salomon bindings

Has anyone else had an issue with salomon bindings ejecting at the wrong times when landing switch? I had the Z12's last year and some days it was like playing Russian roulette when I would try to land. I can't count the number of times that I would have landed a 5 but one ski fell off as soon as I touched down. Now this year I had the STH 12's. The problem was a littile better but the issue was still there. Now I am looking at an ACL reconstruction surgery because I twisted my knee on the way to the ground after loosing a ski on a landing that I would have easily ridden away from had the ski not fallen off. I guess I am just wondering if I am the only one having this issue or if this is common.

I've heard a lot of stuff like this before. Sucks that you actually got injured from it. Good luck with your recovery!

get better binders=no injury. Vibes for your recovery. I have the 12's and I am getting different bindings

my STH14s were pretty bomb until I adjusted the DINs and the forward pressure got FUCKED. Double ejecting on frontflips, popping out of switch landings... all that BULL. but they're fixed now :)

my friend kept coming out of his sth14s all year, he finally got them checked, turns out his boots were the problem haha

switching popping is typical in salomons. My sth 12's are falling to pieces, absolutely terrible binding, buying turntables from now on.

Don't trust any binding with less than a 15 din. I don't care who you are or how much you weight. STH16's, Jesters, FKS 155's and 185's are cheap, easy to find, and 10000% better than the garbage that most people call bindings these days.

Yeah, fuck them hard.Who cares if you signed a release or some shit like that, that's not how we roll in the US of A!

well i don't know how many people would bother joining the salomon cult to hate on their bindings.

z-series: light, but really poor quality

broke a heelpiece in half

destroyed a number of brakes and had to get a new plate on one of the bindings because of a switch pre-release

i've got jesters at the same din and i've never had a problem with them so far...

granted that the z series is a price point binding, but i still expect a similar level of durability as a look binding of comparable price...

My S810's suck balls, they pre-released all the time last season, next year I'm getting new ones. Most definatly not sollys.
