maybe im stupid but when everybody says the salomon z12 is the lightest binding, do they mean salomon z12 TI

yes its a stupid question, and i did seachbar and i didnt find anything, because i think maybe there is just a z12 without the ti that is lighter than the one with a ti

how come salomon and 4frnt wieghts jump almost 2 pounds for a spring that is slightly larger?
every other company with a larger din is the same weight as its smaller brother.

to those above there was a typo in the origianl thread. click the link i posted and youll see the corrections

id rather have boots that fit and preform in the areas that i want them to then have them weight an ounce or two lighter

to an extent. Getting ti bindings is the best way to save on weight and get performance. I've broken z12s wayy too much for them to be worth the weight difference. I too agree that FKS's are where its at. I don't know if they all do but my 120 toe pieces feel half as heavy as my z12 toe pieces and seem overall about the same weight. Do they make like a plastic toe piece in some 120s and metal in others? I know my px12 toe piece is heavy.

thats weird, cause when i got my fks 120s it seemed to me that the toes were way lighter than my px12 jibs. mabee the all metal heel is what makes them around the same weight overall tho. idk?

weight of bindings never has crossed my mind

would one pound make any difference?

you would adapt to it if you noticed it at all after about a run or two
