Salomon Bindings

Last year i had line bindings shityest thing ever broke 3 pairs. The shop then gave me some salomon new bindings the Ti 14 ones. I have broke the base plate on them twice. I how looks on my powder skis. I need a binding that wont break in the park. I fucking hate bindings.

i have sal 912tis and theyve been solid, but ive also got p12 jibs on my park boards and they rock too.

id be getting soem racestocks if u break ur bindings that much, they never die.

if ur getting them for jibbing get the p18's or p15's

but if its for backcountry charging get some salomon s916's or if u can get ur hands on them a plateless pair of markers go nice. the only reason i dont say p18's for backcountry is that they are harder to get on with a lil bit of snow on the bottom of ur boot.

Looks like someone needs racestock clamps. The ones you should look into (consider your DIN setting when reading this) Salomon: s916, s914 LAB (or maybe a regular 914), 997 Equipe (12 or 14 DIN version...stay away from the composite models though.) Most anything with a LAB designation is pretty solid as well.

Look/Rossi: P18/P15, FKS (185, 155 and 120), Pivot series(P10, P12 and P14), personally I don't like the PX heel, but some people swear by it, if you want those look at the same models as the P-series. I've heard the Fischer/Head/Tyrolia high-end stuff is nice(Freeflex 17, Railflex 17, Mojo 15/20), but can't say for sure since I've never owned a pair.

Hope some of this helped you. By the way, if you go with another Salomon, don't buy the lower-end shit like the S912...and anything that has that shiny silver circle on the toe piece, avoid it like the plague.

the 912's are legit, I have this years, cranked to 12, Ive only come out once, and thats when my leg was twisting inside my boot and my ankle was near the breaking point, I was in the middle of this crash like "FUCK i shouldnt have cranked the dins..."

then they released, all is better

this years salomons are now the z series, and the z912 kicks ass. no more fucked up wing things on the toe peice, just a solid binding that happens to be the lightest one on the market. i would never buy looks for the park solely because they weigh a ton.;..

but hes breaking the track. the z series are just as prone to breaking as the 912s, if not more.

someone up there covered it well, racestock look/rossis, pivots, stay away from PXs, tyrolia and fischer stuff, alllll good.

the 916 coming out next year is the best binding ever created..so light, doesn't break, and doesn't come out when it isn't supposed too.

~you man! get markers! best binding on the market, especially for freeskiing! ive had them ever since ive started riding ive been using them. soooo reliable!!!~

ur hilarious

looks like u need a 18 or 16 binding FKS, P18, S916 are all pretty much just metal and u cant really get a better binding...so if u still brake em u should quit skiing or something

rossi scratch all the armada guys ski on them and all my friend have them and so do i there sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet though as nails

I knew I shouldn't have mentioned the Solly 997's...which one of you fuckers snaked me outta the pair on ebay today?

I know what you mean. I have broken 2 pairs of salomon bindings this year also. My local ski shop hooked my up with some rossi axail px12 ti pros, and so far they have held up great. They are a lot heavier but its well worth buying something that wont break. I would also look into the look px12 jibs.

i have salomon bindings and although they've done me good in the past, they cant keep up with my progression. i go higher and higher every year and land harder and harder and switch and whatever and they dont hold up like they used to. i've heard the 4frnt bindings are bombproof though. next pair i buy will be those or the looks...

some look and rossignol bindings are identical, because they are made in the same factory, owned by rossi. If you get rossi or look youre gonna get a good deal. they are the best quality bindings there are in the industry right now.

if you want a binding that wont break that easily, then get looks, or rossis. the big problem is that they will rape you when you fall. solomons will stay together as long as you dont fall switch.

Truth my friends...I've been telling people that the PX design sucked donkey testicles ever since it was introduced.

that happens to me as well..5 mute and if I tweak it to much then it's the end of the day because my knee hurts like a mo'fo

markers, bahhahahaaahahaah. i broke a pair, doing a 180. hahahhahaha

i have look px JIB teams. 3-10 din because im mad light. i only pop out when i need too. i lke them alot. never popped out doing butters cept for the time i tail pressed too much and fell over. hahah

i had salomon for years and always had trouble. this year i started off with the ti's and my heel plate ripped off. so finally i made a good decision and got the look px12 hite or lite or w.e and theyre awesome.
