I know there is probably 50 posts like this one, but I figured there really cant be enough. My skis came off about 20 times yesterday for NO reason. I got them adjusted and that helpde a litte, but for ANYONE even considering buy some, forget it. And for those of you who just feel liek complaining, feel free to do so here:

FUCK YOU Salomon bindings.

Haven't had any trouble with mine yet... of course, they're stuck at 12 DIN, but yeah. I stay in ok.

pierce is right. i was merely skating down the hill, trying to gain speed, and my ski popped off and did a triple kickflip. and i have many other similar stories.

The problem I see with Salomon bindings is that there are too many variables. Look/Rossi have it right, and I knew from the onset that I should have bought p10's...but no, I bought S810's instead...

maybe if you set them up right....toe pressure and din settings...all factors, its prolly just your fault

maybe. but i didnt set them up, and i have only adjusted the din on the toe and heel pieces once. all in all im not buying salomon bindings again, period.

mine were great last year but im riding them again this year, and if u put any pressure on the tail(ie. butter, or just pop from the tail) ive been releasing and its kinda pissing me off

i hate everything salomon makes. my 1080 boots broke, the canting dial snaped so now they are sitting in the shop waiting to get fixed(the part has to be ordered from salomon).

like i said, I got them adjusted, and they were better, but you need to adjust this bastards like once a week in my case. and they still suck! I weigh like 140 pounds, that definetly shouldnt be happening.

this happened to me all the time but you just have to adjust the wings and toe pressure so your boots have no possibility of coming out in the front. I personally have liked my salomon 912s very much, far better than the markers that I destroyed coming off of a 60 foot booter and almost took my life by breaking.

I thought Salmon bindings were awesome until I rode Rossignols. Then I realized Rossi/Look is where its at. I wrote an essay about it if anyone's interested or in need of reform.

Yeah I dunno my s910s are great. I ski reasonably hard and they dont prerelease ever, only when they should. And they are only at din 7 so yeah. And Im 120. Im really happy with them actually.

I've heard that they were more of a big mountain binding, but I didn't have a very good experience with them, they would always pre-release. I would say Look/Rossi are the best bindings.

ya you all must be skiin on 810's or quadrax toes or some shit if you've got save money don't do it on bindings... Salomon has had the same product for the past 50 years back to the 357equipe bindings nothing has changed its a tested product that holds up get a binding thats gonna hold u for what your doing on it like a 912ti or a 914 or a race binding thats got a higher din not some plastic piece of shit...

I've got s900's, s912's, and s810's. The s810's are the worst bindings ever. The other two work great.

I dont have anyu real complaints with mine yet. They are my first pair of Salomons but so far so good!!

Pete is currently sulking around Mt. Hood, shooting with Poor Boyz Productions and hitting on Kristi Leskinen. She hates guys, Pete lamented, so it’s not going good. Apparently Canada isn’t the only thing that’s tough for Pete to get into.

they suck I had to set my din at at 12 the guy at the shop was pissed they kept flying off when i was in the air

Hopefully I will be skiing the Big K in VT until January, and the other K in CA for the rest of the season.
 
I'm glad all the people on here are experts. Thanks for letting me know I needed to get my bindings adjusted and learn how to ski. That helps a lot.

For the non-fucktards on this site, just dont buy salomon bindings, they require way too much adjusting, 4 or 5 times a week to work properly, and are generally pieces of shit, no matter how perfect you land.

yeah they do suck, mine havent actually popped off but ther is a big space between my boot and binding and i cant get it colsed , i don't trust them.

 
Was doing a revert yesterday and came out of the binding, resulting in my catapolting (sp) into the ground. Got fucking whiplash.

my 912ti have been great for five years, the heel pieces are starting to move more than they should, and the housing for the brakes is messed up, but after five years what that's not bad, they still hold me in with proper adjustment.
