do the new salomon park skis have a wood core. cause i heard a rumor saying that some are and some aren't

 
wood is the way to go, but hybrid is better than pure

they don't make foam core skis anymore, none of you are right, it's called micro fibre, it comes in a big high density block and is milled just like wood and has the same characteristics as wood. foam core were a thing of the 70's wich i'm pretty sure none of you experienced, get your facts right before you talk, alot of you probably couldn't even tell the difference between a microcell ski and a wood one, and alot of you probably havn't even tried both knowingly.

oh ya, and no they didn't change the core in salomon skis, it's the same synthetic core as it's been for years, salomon doesn't do wood at all....period. only in there high high end race skis for the pros maybe

The new park skis (Thruster, Foil) use PMI hard foam for their core filling material - no wood.

The Candide Lab used PU foam - still no wood. The stiffness and flex pattern was designed in the topsheet cap. This is still the case for the CR Lab.

 
i agree with nomensteven on this one in that wood core reacts so much better than foam. and salomon is a corporate bunch of fucks so i wouldnt buy their shit anyway
