looks don't have toe height adjustments. with salomons, you are instructed to be able to slide a .5mm card (pretty much a library card) between the afd and the boot toe when the binding is engaged. you then need to tighten the top screw (about the diameter of a nickle, right on top of the toe piece) so that it requires a slight tug to remove the card. voila, your to height is adjusted properly.
in addition to the toe height adjustment, there is also the toe wing, which is visible from left side of the toe piece. adjust this with a small flathead. tighten this so that the toe wings touch the shell of the boot.
with both of these adjustments done properly, you'll stay secure in your binding and they'll perform like they are designed to.
