one of my friends has 420s and they are exactly like my 1080s just the bottoms are all black and the grafix on the top are a little different other wise they are exactly the same well his were like way cheaper

I asked the guys at Salomon, and yeah it was a special edition ski sold in the US.

We're trying to get them to send us a pair to give out as a prize...

Apparently, I'm the most sold out person in history.

 
Yeah guys i just got a pair a couple of weeks ago. Thy do say 420 on them, they are the same screen print, and the bases are black. I was talking to a Solomon rep and he said that the 420's are basicly the same ski as 1080 except for somthing different in the core. He said that the 420's are only really sold to the "big box" stoe like Gart (where i picked mine up.
