Maybe I missed it but does anyone have or know where to find the link to view the new Salomon gear for next year? Thanks!

I guess all I really need to know is the 2014-2015 Ghost 130 any different from last years? If so what are the new features? Thanks

The Ghost 130 is unchanged other then a graphic Update.

There is quite a few cool new products for next season.

NS will like the new Ghost FS. Differnt shell to the ghost and a massive performance increase over the spk.

The Q and Rocker lines of skis see updates and new models.

There is finally a new park ski too.

Anyone seen their new outerwear? I was really impressed with their gore-tex freeride suits.. Great fit, long jackets but not getting American Fat / Big old man wide .. The suit I tried was a proto though..

does anyone know the specs on the Q-Lab (not the BC). I only know it's around 180 and 105 underfoot and similar rocker profile to quest 105.

sizes, sidecut, dimensions? anyone?

Well there is a 183 model which will be the biggest selling model. It's a hell of a ski and a real ripper. It has a double ti laminate so you can really put this ski on an edge when needed. It's not a ski that much of ns will want as it will be too much for most here. It retains the tip and taper shape of the existing rocker and q skis and features the early rise tail of the q skis. The sidecut on the 183 is 138-103-127 so a pretty good shape for charging. Get on a pair if you can as this will really be a single quiver ski. Let me know if you have any other questions.

yeah but it's junk so I didn't feel it worth mentioning haha

This was my opinion too untill I broke my thalls and threats were all we had lying round the shop. No they are not great durability wise but they are actually a really fun little park ski. Don't expect to be carving them hard but for spring park laps they were fun.

Have you any idea what the weight is on those?

I gotta say I think salomon is making some killer products for next season. Both Q Labs are tight, with the Lab being a perfect every day balls to the wall charger, and the BC Lab being unbelievably light for a 114mm ski (if their SIA specs stand true).

Tom, what are the major differences between the Ghost and the FS? A 90 flex boot seems way too soft for any serious park skier, so will some of Sollys athletes head toward the standard Ghost?

There are a few differences between the ghost and ghost fs. They both use the same starting shell but the fs is widened to 100mm to give the forefoot some room for impacts. The cuff is slightly more upright on the fs too. 90 Is the stock flex but this can be stiffened to 100. But yes you are right for most of the athletes that is too soft so most still use the ghost 110. Its always tough making boots for athletes as what they want just will not sell. Most park riders dont want a narrow 130 flex boot, but that is what most pros want. So we have to make boots which will sell to the generall skiing population. So allthough the ghost fs may seem soft it will be great for alot of park riders and its a massive increase in performance over the spk.
