Salomon 2012 Skis

yeah i agree, i dont know whats with NS but it seems the thing to do is destroy Salomon. salomon is a decent company, remember theyve been around alot longer than armada and the ever so new companies, they have experience they know how to make skis, but really only just came into the freestyle scence, so i mean expect years of work, they always need to work on something, as for the Suspects: good ski. Good off the pop, stable and smooth on rails, yes people SALMON SKIS ARE NOT DURAble!!! we get it, they delam alot and shit, yes. ALL skis do that at some point, its just the way they layer the core and the graphics. But its up to you dude, i sy give em a demo and see how they feel FOR YOU. no point buying a ski that is "more durable" but doesnt work for u. Buy a ski that ur gonna ride till they fall apart. GOOD LUCK
 
i demoed the 2012s in whistler this summer. great for buttering (but ANY rockered ski is) but the ski does not turn. it is very hard to carve on these skis, almost impossible, and this is coming from an ex-racer. also, the skis felt dead and were very heavy. also, im not sure about the durability, but they dont have edge armour which is a plus
 
I just bought a pair of these and can't wait to try them out. I ride banff/lake louise and heard they were great in powder as well as the park!
 
got some in whist in october, they were on sale, it was weird, but im stoked to try them out. perfect ski for westcoast i hear, park and a bit of powder. so stoked on them .
 
Salomon park skis aren't that good, and places like freeskiers ratings are based on how much money their getting. They're not durable and have been said to be very non playful.
 
Finally got to try mine out yesterday, there really really fun. Super easy for switchups and anything else on rails, these were the first rockered ski Ive ridden, and I didn't really notice a difference between these anda regular pair of cambered skis. There so easy to butter on, but still stiff enough I feel like they'd do ok on jumps, but yeah, I like them alot
 
I'm sure he rides suspects as well, but for hitting rail setups or spring riding I'm sure all of the salomon riders will be pushing these. I know it felt like everybody on Armada was switching between t-halls and alphas last year, so I'm expecting to see the same this year.

I mounted mine center, thats where its recomended or 2 cm back, and to the guy who said they didn't carve, I disagree, I thought they carved great
 
maybe hes jibbing around buttering having fun and trying them, but for any major comps or videos he uses suspects
