Salomon 1080 Foils

they are the best all mountain/ one-ski quiver oth there besides the volkl karma. i would get them but i dont have $600 to spend on skis and bingings.

Weight... I weigh 195 and the Foils are the best ski I've ever skied on.

I jib and I rip... x racer too so... The Foils hold up damn good on a bigger fucker like me....

props to Douglas and the team for taking it to another level with the 1080 Foil.

where do you have them mounted?

^wow are you me? I do the same thing, and I'm 190, Still wondering where to mount them, thinking that white line closest to the mounting mark, approx +2 i believe.

yeah idk, even the "freeride" spot is super far forward compared to where im at on my PE's and thats at +3 but i guess thats just how salomon works their sidecut and stuff.

well there are actually diferent production models of the foil, the eirly ones had just the engraved line, the current ones have 2 arrows, one pointing up for freestyle and one pointing down for freeride, just hit up salomon NA and ask to speak to a product tech, and they will tell you what is what and how to measure it out

i'd sell my foils mounted with s912ti's for $550 or thereabouts. only used em 3 or 4 times. barely any scratches (i dont hit rails much)

hahah im with the no-flex guy. thye will not butter no matter how hard i try. maybe cause i only weigh 120 pounds but still........................

They dont have flex and they dont need flex. They are sick as hell my buddies got them in 182 with fks bindings and they ride like a bat out of hell. If u like the long ski with a little more flex go with thrusters. Or maby the stl's i ride stl's and i love them.

While we're on the topic of foils, every single pic of them online shows them as grey, but mine are purple...what gives?
