salomon 1080 defect

does ne body know if theres a defect in the black (jf cusson) 1080s my tip keeps popping off well the stabaliser thing i sent em back and they glues em on over the summer but now i skiied 2 runs went off a hit and both of em popped again?

i bought em over a year ago, but sent them for repairs under the warranty like at the begining of the summer, has this ever happened to ne body and do u think ill get new skis scince its a repeat problem, im not gonna glue my tips back on every 2 runs.

 
solution:: get pocket rockets no tip cover thing to pop off

ever since I was young, all the skis Ive had with the airflow things, they have always fallen off, no matter what brand. It doenst matter at all... it doenst affect the way the ski preforms

i have the blue ones, and the tips come off when i land hard and smack them down. you just have to pop them back on. that's what i did.

The only way the 1080 tip comes off is if you land backseat.. landing ahrd backseat once can do it.. after that they're lose and will pop off rather easily.. they've noticed and now make the 1080 without tips just liek the pocket rocket

 
thats it...land the good way and they wont broke...like mogul ski...mogul skier complain their skis are shit cuz they broke but they are going at 100mph backseat in mogul....ski well and skis wont broke.

You can bolt the tips on too, as that is the only way they will stay on for good. Not the best for the ski, but oh well.

 
i had some last year and had no problems, but yeah salomon sucks, you should have concepts

So Salomon skis will only work if you land on them properly? That is horseshit! How does that company feel on progression? I guess anybody who is half decent always lands perfectly. I guess you can't learn new tricks on these skis either as you might risk landing 'not perfect'.

if it pops off , just heat it up with a blow dryer when you get home and pop it back on.
