Dope graphics love the throwback! Its amazing that Salomon has completely ignored their park scene though. They should develop a fat more all mtn freestyle ski as something complimentary to the qst 106 and 118. The 118's have been one of the worst skis i've ever been on really not happy with them.

Probably just an updated/different graphic NFX, the original 1080 would have to be completely scrapped and redesigned to compete with modern ski designs

The bases on the original were yellow and these were black. And the tips look rockered a bit but I could be wrong.

The original 1080 was like 75 underfoot max, there's no way a ski like that would sell in 2019 no matter how much nostalgia people feel for them

I agree 100%. I feel like the Rocker 2 100s would sell better as a dedicated park ski in today's industry anyways. I loved mine, they were a lot of fun.

QST 99 has less tail taper and lower tail splay. But if they did just make a ski with the QST 99's construction in a more symmetrical package, I'd be 100% on board.

Yeah, good point. But you’re right, that sounds like a crazy fun ski. I love the qst line, but they would be rad in a more symmetrical shape.

Looks like another prototype of the ski he was one earlier with the 1080 topsheets (shape, width, rocker all look very similar). Seems like a new mid-fat freestyle ski.
