damn i really need a 26 which has a 305 sole and just try and score some smaller xwave liners sometime down the road. good luck with the sale man sick deal
 
Is the concern that your bindings are setup for 305mm? Most bindings allow for adjustment of the heel-piece forward and back a bit. What are you working with?
 
Go into a shop, try on a 27.5, then try on a 27. Then look at the bootsole lengths. Then tell me the 27 is a "1/2 size too small."
 
no ironically enough my bindings are set up for a 315 sole but my boots are ones i got cheap a long time ago and have always been to big, i got fitted for a 26.0 1080 boot which has a 305 sole so if the 27s had the same 305mm shell i was gonna get em and then put in the smaller liners down the road whenever i could get the money. sorry man id really like to snag a pair this nice for that price. free bump
 
1/2 size too small my ass (whoever said that). plus, the boot shell is the exact same for a 27 and 27.5, so the only difference is in the liner (which can ALWAYS be made to fit).
