sice the review section is down,are the 2004/2005 1080's a good ski?

I rode my friends last year and they were sooo tight and their nice and light.

i used to have them, it was a good beginner park ski, good if u ski like half outside the park and half in the park.... i would go with the 03/04 skis because it is the same ski, just different graphic, and it costs less

adding to steves post Id also have to say that I am not a fan of the spaceframe foam injected core, ive heard to many durability problems with that crap.

I have had several Salomon foam core skis and have not had a problem with durability. Although I have heard the rumored horror stories. I would say that it is an all-around good ski!

Injected? i didnt think that salomon was injected? at least their higher end stuff is cut from a soild block.

salomon skis suck they just break up after 1 week

the new cores arent injected anymore, they are cut out of one peace, so it eliminates the soft spots from uneven injection

they sux, delamed 2 pairs so went back to skiing lines, now i use them as a back up, but i know the lines can take a harder beating
