What is the difference between the s914, the s194 FIS 17, and the s914 FIS 26.3?

FIS bindings have lift to meet FIS standards.

So... the 17 and 26.3 is a measurement of lift in _____? 17/26.3 mm?

i can't honestly say I know how much lift each one has. I'm not much of a salomon guy. but it sounds about right because FIS guys have huge lift.

^as in 17 inches? That would be pretty ridiculous. That's a foot and a half of lift.

^^ inches??... yes it's a measurement of lift in mm... basically the difference is the lifter plate that comes with the binding and the length of the screws. If you are going to mount up without the lifter say for the 914-26 make sure you find some shorter screws before you run them straight through

I think it's pretty obvious he was joking. Only reason I asked about the unit was that even 26 mm seems like a ton. They're cheap on BCstore, is why I posted this.

i would say they are probably the only salomon bindings that work decently

And get this, on the news the other day they did a big story about old people dropping dead from heat exhaustion. They urged my community to donate fans to keep them alive!! Tell you what, I'll donate my pubes to shove in their mouths, but I'll be damned if I donate anything electrical or useful. - random net person that i found on a site shown to me by apple
