I am selling all my skis. I hate skiing and don’t want to do it anymore. You all suck.
Actually I just don’t have time to get out much this year... or next year... or the year after... yeah. So I don’t need a full quiver and perhaps some of these items will be better suited to a new home.
First item: Line Chronic Wides, 187cm long, 86mm waist. As new. I barely used them because I have 2 pairs of the same ski. The fact that the other pair is the only thing I’m keeping (yeah I lied I’m not selling quite all of them) after this sale should give you some indication of how excellent these are for a one ski quiver. I consider them the best ski for riding switch on I’ve had the chance to ride. They come with equally new matching look px12 bindings mounted to a 335 sole. You could just get the pictures off google image search, since they’re basically mint, but to prove they’re mint, here are pictures. 350 CDN (or US I guess) for the setup / 250 for skis, 100 for bindings. Since original retail was more than double that and they’re pretty much new, that’s a steal.
Next, the original Armada Ant Pro, 191cm long, 106mm waist. Used for half of last season, almost exclusively on pow days in Whistler. Fat, stiff, and fast as hell. Quintessential charging twin. Not sure how many people on this website have any use for such things. The topsheet and edges are in excellent shape, no cracks or chips to speak of. There was one base gouge, not quite a core shot, but I figured it was deep enough to deserve P-tex. I put a picture of it in there. That happened on the first day I rode them and the Ptex job has held up ever since so it should be good in perpetuity. They come mounted once with Scratch 140s, the ones with the actual pivot heel. Since you can’t get those anymore and they were a great binding I figure that’s a selling point. The bindings have been painted as you can see. Both items are rare (new ANTs aren’t as beefy as the originals, and the bindings aren’t made anymore), so if these are what you’re looking for who knows if you’ll get another chance. 400 for the package; skis and bindings. PS - any little spots on the bases in these pictures are just wax shavings.
Lastly, and I hesitate to do this but maybe there’s someone who needs these and has an idea of what they’re worth as a ski, I offer my original Seth Pistols, 189cm long, 95mm waist. As far as I’m concerned (and I’m not alone) they are the best all-mountain ski ever made. Pretty soft, but nonetheless solid enough for Seth to ski in AK on them and produce that segment from Focused, more than wide enough to float on anything but still easy to turn, fast, and they even kill it in park. These have, I would say, 20ish days on them, and plenty of life left (they ski as they did when new). They did sustain a core shot, which was shop-repaired, you can see it under the “L†in “Pistol†on the base of the top ski there by the edge (which was undamaged). The ptex has held up well. The edges are in great shape with no cracks, the topsheets have a couple of nicks and scuffs but just cosmetic stuff and all quite small, as you can see by the pictures. They are on their second mount and come with brand new px12tis. I will take offers on the skis + bindings, or just skis alone, but don’t see any reason to sell the px12s by themselves since you can pretty much get them anywhere. This is in case someone has been dying to get their hands on a pair of these in the past year, because I know there aren’t any pairs out there anymore really. Pictures:
