Sailors

i used to go sailing on this little 3 person sail boat with my friend. The thing was so little that we could just flip it over with like braely any wind. And after we flipped it completly over we could crawl down the sail pole and go like 15 feet under water. Good times, it was really fun.
 
i sail 420s mostly, but i got a laser and raced that a bit in some regattas...both are sick boats
 
I can sail sunfish(weak, i know)but thats all I have usually.....about once or twice a year my friend has a 36 foot race boat....he takes me and a cpl of my buds on it, we enter races and stuff....we lose horribly, but me and my friends arent hardcore sailors, just for fun.
 
that is what sailing is about. Having fun. I was out last summer with a friend and we were ailing a laser in 30 mile winds (the sail ripped and we reefed it) and we tacked and he moved to leeward side to early. The wind picked up since we were on a close haul and he got dumped. And here is me sitting on the hull (fry capsize) laughing my ass off ast he started cursing at the wind. You should have been there.
 
I saaail. I used to sail 420s a bunch. over the summer I lived and sailed on a 14ft. pulling boat (outward bound). it was very dope...sailing is fun
 
you did the outward bound program? in maine? that's sweet. we always see them out when we're sailing, and go drop them off cookies and stuff, cause we're nice people
 
haha YES! dude people like you got me through that trip. hahaha one morning a huuge sailboat put some danishes in a plastic bag and floated it over to us, so we did a man overboard drill to get it. hhaha but yeah OB was so fun, I miss it
 
I sailed laser and 420 in long island sound. now im an instructor and I just ride around in a motorboat all day. its sick
 
windsurfing is fucking sweet even though i almost died this summer doing it. Ever tried kiteboarding i think it might be even funner than windsurfing
 
Windsurfing used to be really hard when I started 8 years ago. With all the nice widestyle beginner gear, its getting really simple.

As far as Kiteboarding goes. Its a lot fun in lighter winds and you can boost some huge airs. However, Kiting in big winds is kinda sketchy. So as soon as the wind gets stronger, I bust out on my windsurfing gear.

Kiting is even more fun in the winter on the snow and ice. Build up some rails and ramps you have a tits park for free on the lake.
 
yea i sail i bit,i just got back from jamaica and i sailed a hobie cat that they had on the resort a bunch it was a good time..
