Sage leaves Rossignol

id ski for rossignol just so i could have the s7. skied them on a deep day in whistler 3 days ago and they absolutely kill it. anyone want to trade super 7's for my jj's? lawwwl

rossi is owned by Quick silver and for the past few seasons it was there least profitable branch. it was actually loosing money so quick silver has rossi up for sale and if it isnt sold it will get shut down. I suspect that they are not resigning there athletes after there contracts are up because they have no money.

i dont remember, but i remember being surprised because quicksilver only owned them for like a year or two.

I love my scratch ghettos and I paid $200 for them new.
I mean, sure they were $650 originally, but who pays full price for ski gear anyway?
I haven't skied too many park skis but they are better than any of the K2 ones I've tried.

rossignol freeski isn't really doing too bad, they have Parker White, Chris Logan, Xavier Bertoni, Kevin Rolland and more . I mean these guys kill it they just aren't at the fore front of skiing. However Bertoni did win pipe at x last year....

SUCH a dope ski! f-n inbelievably fun. the S4 is the lightest, most responsive park ski i have EVER ridden, and the S3...well...what more could you ask for!

rossi have the sickest skis and the poeple who work for them are the greatest.

Rossi's old CEO bought them back from Quik for a steal as it was Quik's stock that was failing. Rossi reorganized in Europe, hired Tim Petrick (the guy who ran K2 the last 20yrs) to run the both Rossi and Dynastar globally and are looking to kill it.

TGR was getting really aggresive, so Rossi said I'll take my money somewhere else. Sage got caught in the crossfire. It really sucked for him. Did you see TGR's press release on Atomic?

Rossi is making some great skis S7, BC110, S3, the new S6 runs a full rocker program. The prices didn't go up for next year, some other companies did. Rossi's program is solid

Agreed Im just bummed that they just moved the really sweet top sheet art to just 3 "Jib" line skis. The S6 for 2010/2011 looks great but its a shame to see the art cut down so much

not realy sure about that.

rossignol has one of the worst team manager.

just ask any of the riders rossignol has fired during the pas seasons how well they were treated...

well fair enough, each to his own. i cannot speak for them, but they seem to still have a lot of amazing skiers on their team!

i have had nothing but good when i have dealt with anyone from rossi here in NZ!

you cant be serious,. last year i tried my friends rossi park skis for a run and they were SO light and turned so well i would have taken them over my chronics no doubt

Seth's segment in UTI was long. His segment in re:session was not as long. It just depends on how much footage he gets. FWIW, he does spend as much time in AK as any TGR guy. He is one of their main guys.

Comes with the territory. Sage is one of the few people who can make a living off of skiing. He makes pretty good money. To get paid he needs to hype the skis.

Bent Chetlers are sick skis. What I wonder, is when he is skiing super technical spine walls, like in UTI, what ski he will use. The Chetler's have the width and rocker to powerslide spines, and make quick technical turns, but at 183 they are a bit short. The Atlas is HUGE, and has some rocker. I just don't know if the Atlas has enough rocker to powerslide a spine wall. Rockered skis HAVE made a difference in what is possible in AK.

Yes, skiing is skill, and not the boards, but descents like Hotel Room(best line for powder awards 2009) are just not possible on skis without rocker. Or should I say, they are not possible in the MANNER Sage skis them without rocker.

Atomic has some very sick skis. They also might have the best team in the business. Sage, Flahr, Daron Rahlves......
