Saga Smoke&Mirror Vest OR Lethal Descent AST Hoodie?

Before you guys say pick yourself I would really want both of these but I can only afford one atm. I live in the northwest (Vancouver, Canada) so we get a lot of snow but its not dry. Lots of spring skiing as the snow stays for a long time. When it is snowing lots I would obviousley use my jacket, not a vest or hoodie so this would be for those other days.
Help me choose and give some reasons why you would suggest one or the other
 
I would say vest because its more water preef and well, saga has a good name for having nice big and baggy sizes, on the other hand LD is really legit and all thier stuff is super sick but that hoodie looks more like an everyday hoodie and not somthing you'd wear skiing, but i might be wrong because i have never seen in real life a lethal descent hoodie. Sooooo IMO saga vest.
 
Shit forgot to mention saga has better water proofing so it would be better for those warm wet days out west.
 
I swear it is just so hard to make a decision about all of this years products. Between FD jacket into vest thing and LDC jackets and hoodies and Sagas Jackets and vests, i dont know what to do, i guess it really all comes down to the fact which company you feel loyal to.
