park is going to be so gay looking if they dont modify the suits for freestyle. I cant see this not happening though. it wouldnt help the skiers confidence and the suits have a whole different feeling from what they are used to.
why the fuck did spyder just bitch out like 3 or 4 years ago and just start to suck at making park outerwear. They made the dopest stuff back when they had like CR, vanular, rainville and all of them. Haha i still wear my a pair of the spyder killer pants from like 08 i think, best pants ive ever owned.
That's not necessarily true, I mean yeah these skiiers will be good no matter what they wear but the better they think they look the better they will ski.
Your an idiot, i ride tight first of all so its not about being saggy, its about feeling confident. An unusual snag in clothing can distract someones concentration. Before any even you want to feel good, look good, be on top of everything so you can be in the zone.
Quit acting like a jackass with those who are bringing up actual worries, this is a discussion board not fucking nsg.
Inside the mind of most people, I know that when I think I look super cool doing something I'm having a better time and more willing to try stuff and ski better.
i'm guessing the athletes have some say in what the final product looks like? i'm not sure tho. i mean it's reasonable if they do, they're the ones wearing them. so if they think tall looks good then tnf will make them tall. to me wearing bigger clothes always feel better when i ride
i do read, you sound like a fucking idiot. Athletes get paid to perform. As far as i know they would be focused on their run, not what they look like. Just because you care so much about how you look while you ski does not mean pro level athletes do the same.
idk man why do people in the NFL wear visors that are blacked out or have their individual face paint. why does ovechkin wear a tinted shield in the NHL. we're not in a sport where we need speed suits to cut off a fraction of a second for the gold. skiing has alot of "swag" and im sure if you put some kids in tight pants that usually wear baggy they would perform worse.
obviously its not the same for everyone, but in a sport like skiing where how you look matters so much (to sponsors, kids, and the media) it defiantly does have an impact
I heard somewhere that baggy pants make it easier to get points from the judges because they can't see your legs move around and make mistakes as much as tight pants. It kinda makes sense.I still wear tighterish pants though.
I've talked to a ton of people about this before and they have all told me that they ski better when they think they look better, it's a confidence thing. Yeah athletes get paid to ski and they are concentrating on their run but if you put them in underwear only or skinny pants and a tight fitting jacket when someone who is used to wearing baggy ass shit such as Tom or the majority of pros these days they might feel awkward throwing the same tricks. I don't think I sound like a fucking idiot and I'm sure most people on NS would agree
