its a shell so obviously not as thick as most gear, but i mean it definitly feels like the thickest shell i've ever worn. its got like a crapload of lining all over virtually. im super warm right now wearing it but i refuse to take it off. also, the pants are fleece lined between butt and knees. so thats nice
