Saga outerwear thoughts?

Looking at buying some new gear, probably just a jacket but maybe more, I ski pnw so the temps vary a ton. Saga has 50% off right now so I was thinking of going with a hybrid hoodie with layers underneath. How are they warmth, durability and waterproofing wise? Any other recommendations on a nice looking jacket that doesn’t wipe out my bank account?
 
People are going to hate on Saga. They did some shady shit. I’ve never personally had issues with them and I have a full fatigue suit from last year. No issues with it. The 3L is supposed to be super nice especially for the price.

I know about the unfulfilled orders, lack of communication, etc., but they imo they are a good company who got genuinely unlucky/overwhelmed.

Yeah I ordered deadstock directly from them this year and had it quickly with no issues. I have no negative feelings towards them and honestly will buy again once these pants are kicked.
 
If they had a phone number it would help out alot. I never received one of my orders and it is very difficult trying to communicate over email. Especially when they don't answer the messages.
 
With that being said, we have bought from Saga for years and always been more that satisfied with their product.
 
Boycott saga because they cant deliver. Virtika is also having a 50% off sale. just snagged some bibs and a jacket.

I used to be a saga fanboi until saga stopped delivering orders. However, my monarch 3L is faded as heck and stained from the lift, but she still gets the job done. well see how the new virtika jacket does in comparison.

Fuck David Lesh. Thought maybe people were just hating on him then I listened to a podcast with him and he’s a fucking douche.

I could probably agree to that. Can’t beat 50% off and knowing you’ll actually get your gear. Gotta do what ya gotta do to stay dry ?‍♂️
 
I snagged a 3L bib for 50% last year on memorial day from Evo. it shipped quick and I haven’t had any problems with it. I think since Evo already has stock of them they ship faster than Saga has been known to.
