so i just made my saga coat better by putting magnets in the hood. now the hood wont fly up in my face when im skiing switch, but i can still put th hood up when i need to

took two sets of neodinium magnets and two metle plates.

put the coat on a person put the plates at the bottom of the hood while it was lying down and put clear scotch tape over them to hold in place temporarily.

then i took the magnets and placed them on the inside of the coat and matched the location of the plates, then taped them in. once i made sure this was the right place for the magnets and plates i took matte black duct tape and went over the plates and the magnets. with matte black you cant see the tape but its still there.

just tested it by standing up in the back of a truck backwards while it was going about 40, and the hood didnt come up. but when its still easy to put the hood up with my hands

just thought i would throw it out there incase any one was having the switch+speed=hood in face problem

QuikSilver did that with the jacket I have from them, only did it for the flap over your zipper. Sooooo nice compared to velcro. Snow doesnt affect it at all, and clasps way better too.
