So I ordered my SAGA in November and it arrived in January. All good no snow in NZ at the moment anyway. The gear is super sick as you already know. Then the other day another box arrives from America . . . . from SAGA. It was a second pair of pants !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I check the credit card and no charge ? now i was confused so i emailed SAGA and asked what was up ? I explained my situation and how the wrong size was sent first but then they cleared it up and how they randomly sent me a second pair ?? So this morning got a reply super fast saying that the second pair was mine !!!!!! for free !!!!!! they said because of my patience and the double logistical mistake they were mine to do with what I want !!!!! so im super stoked that the company is so sick and let me have these but now I dont no what to do ? I dont want to take profits away from them cause of a few mistakes and I dont need two of the same pants !!!!!So do I send them back and get mad karma ?or . . . .give them away ? or . . . . sell them ?feedback please . . . .
 
Give them to someone on your mountain who really deserves em. They're free to you, dont take profit for a gift you wont use. Earn some karma.
 
- sell them and donate the money to newschoolers or just profit
- make them a prize for a cool/interesting comp that you can make
- keep them / trade them

 
if you see someone at your local mountain with ripped pants just give it to him. imagine how confused/grateful that guy would be. pay it forward.
 
I had a bit different situation than you dealing with saga. I got my suit mid Jan, like everybody else, but then by Feb. 13 the inside was completely torn up with huge rips in it. I saw a guy who works with saga on the mountain and gave him my jacket to take back to them and get it fixed. He said i would have it later that week. All seemed well, ya? The next weekend I get an email saying its in the shop and I will have it mid that week (Feb. 23ish). That week goes by, and nothing. I email saga that following weekend (feb 30th weekend) asking where it is and they say its in the shop and ill have it that week. So that week goes by, and once again nothing.... I email again March 6th ish and be like this is ridiculous its been almost a whole month since i gave you my jacket and i've missed so much skiing because of this. $300 for a jacket that i get to wear for not even a month before it gets messed up, and then i lose it for another month.... i was pissed, of course.

finally after calling and emailing numerous times i get my jacket today (12th), and after all that shit happened all i got was another free tee shirt and some stickers.

i mean i got my jacket back so im happy, but some free pants would have been nice, a little nicer than a shirt to say the least heh.

but whatever, just my story with saga and how it turned out. not as happy as i could've been, especially after being without my $300 jacket for so long, but whatever.... i'm not mad, i'm just dissapointed (haha)

 
I love saga!

i ordered my pants (purps, size large) on a thursday (ehh, january or so), and received them the next wednesday... seriously. i was soooo stoked... and, they didn't even charge me for shipping

saga earns my respect for sure, but i realize that some people didn't benefit as much as me, so i feel bad posting this.

anyway, this deserves to be posted due to how utterly legit saga has been to me!!!

Saga is a great company that people need to give a chance to. The suits are so ill, and they are shipping quicker every season. I would guess that next season they will ship on time. The fit and materials are the best I've ever had. They are a great, core company for sure.
 
yeah dude i'd hook someone up that can't afford nice gear but is super good ya know? one of those groms that kills it but can't afford dope gear. saga did the same thing to me, but i ordered pants and got a jacket and they gave me the jacket for 1/2 off. they are really cool guys, and the gear holds up.
 
this is the kinda stuff thatll kill em in the long run... i can understand sending shiirts and what not, but extra pants, and free shipping?

its a sick company, and it needs to stay around
 
put them on Trademe!! I'll buy them and share them with some unfortunate friends of mine who slay it with me at Craigieburn !!
