Saga not returning calls or emails... help?

so my gf wanted to get me L syurp coat from saga for xmas, and i told her to call and see when they could ship cause i know they are sold out of a bunch of stuff. so she called a bunch of times and emailled them twice.. she hasnt heard back from them and its been prolly a week or so...is there any saga reps on here that can help me out? then went to FD to see whats ghood with there coats and there fucking site is down.... never thought itd be soo hard to find a coat.... lol

Exact date of first call?. cause if u have been reading the saga pg. THEY ARE BUSY AS FUCK. and just got the late order of Saga. So it will take a little while for them to get back to you. your girlfriend should check availibility on the website, and it says if it is in or not.
 
im not sure but i told her saga was busy as fuck and most of there shit is sold out...and my coat isnt instock so i told her not to worry about it till after xmas, but she wants to order it now so itll be ready as soon as they get more in.
 
I just don't understand why you pretweens continue to support such a shitty company. You'd think by now they could get their act together and act like a real company. They aren't a first year start up anymore.
 
lol that is a joke. WHo cares if they are busy... hire more people. Saying you are busy is not a business excuse.
Though I am sure you could guess by now that Saga doesn't exactly stay on top of their customer service demands. If they were a company that sold a product to a target audience over 21 they would be out of business by now. Sad. I still love their first two years of stuff. Fresh ideas - poor company execution.
And to the OP, why not buy a jacket from a company you know can deliver?
 
Word, EXACTLY!!

I gave them the benefit of the doubt for so long but after hearing all these stories (that are true), this is just absolutely fucking ridiculous. I would never buy anything from them, in their current state. Especially when there are other "indie" brands that are nicer, cheaper, delivered on time, and have better customer service.

Now if Saga gets their act together and it stays legit for a year or 2 I will absolutely consider buying their gear again. I remember their first year stuff and I still think it's among the dopest outerwear ever, considering picking up a used pair if I find some in decent condition.

 
If this were any other company, they would have tanked by now. If they're bringing in that much cash, hire other people. I haven't ordered anything, but this shit is ridiculous. They need to get their shit together.

Prediction: they're nit going to be around for a 2011-2012 season at this rate
 
There is a thread with 60 pages of supporters give or take in gear talk and this thread has 12 disappointed potential customers/current customers. I think they are doing just fine.And if any of you want to give them the benefit and compare this years stuff to any other company, good luck finding more bang for your buck...
 
This is so true. I'm not big on complaining, usually I just roll with the punches, but I can't sit around anymore. Its not even right to say that Saga has bad customer service, because it is non existent. How many people including myself can you just not return e-mails and calls to. I don't care how busy you are or whats going on, you make time for your customers, because in the end that is what your company is run off of. We support it, and keep it going so there is absolutely no reason why we should be kept in the dark as to whats going on. I'm not pissed off about the jacket being delayed, I realize there is very little that could be done about that, what I'm pissed about is that myself and many other loyal supporters can not even get an e-mail or a call back. That truly blows my mind. I realize that I am only one person and in the grand scheme of things that's not a big deal, but I also know that I am not the only person that will never be buying Saga again, because there are just too many good companies to give my money to, that will appreciate it.
 
Care to link us this 60 page thread of people saying I am 100% satisfied with Saga? Oh and more bang for your buck? HAHAHA was that a serious statement? Saga may be the very worst bang for your buck.
 
Saga is working really hard to get this done people just need some patience. And eys it is more bang for your buck. This years gear is extremely nice and worth every penny.
 
if you check the website there have been several updates regarding the issues with shipping. I also know for a fact that there are people working around the clock to keep up with customer service demands, and to make sure that gear is being shipped as soon as it gets to saga.

also, for those commenting on the quality of the gear, I think you will be very surprised when you see this years gear in person. it's as waterproof and high quality as anything on the market.
 
I understand this, and I am sure the employees are working hard to get everything shipped. But for the millionth time, it does not negate the fact that Saga have a serious problem responding to inquiries. And like so many others have said, that is not good customer care. I do not understand why they keep urging people to call or sent e-mails, when they are not able to answer them. Instead they should advise people that they are in a bind and that they cannot guarantee a quick, or even any, response to phone calls or e-mails. Anything else just makes it worse, as frustrated people keep pounding them with e-mails and phone calls. And to be honest, this is kind of a joke. It has happened every single year Saga has been in existence. I mean,come on, they must have learned by now. But I guess not.
 
Im facing a similar issue. I ordered a vest from the when pre-orders were going on. I ordered a size XL, i recieved a size L. Ive been emailing them the past two months. I have yet to even recieve acknowledgement from Saga. I'd be okay if they'd atleast let me know whats going on. Its to the point now where im tempted to file a claim with paypal for being shipped incorrect merchandise.
 
I have about 15 days on this year's XL stuff. I gotta say, it's the pretty much nicest outerwear I've ever been able to afford, considering how well it fits, the features, and how well it performs. Before this year I've never had current stuff, I always get old gear from discount stores.

I've got a Burton 3L coat that I've had for years, I love it for backpacking and touring because it is super thin and weighs nothing, but this year's saga stuff is so on point, it's pretty much exactly the jacket I've always wanted. I know that alot of that has to do with opinion, but there's no doubt it's nice outerwear.

To everyone else - It's super hard to start a company, Saga has been doing pretty damn well for themselves, and they've done a good job taking big steps every year quality and service wise, still for a very reasonable price. I still stand behind those guys completely.

OP, I'm sure you will hear from them. I hope you get your issues resolved.
 
im sure saga does not have your email on priority because you are asking a question about a product that is, or will sell out regardless, and you have not ordered anything.
 
alright alright, this thread got out of hand a lil bit. im not hating on SAGA or any thing i just want saga to return my girlfriends call. and im fully aware that i havent purchased anything so for them to put me on a low priority list is fucked.... my gf is emailing/calling you for a reason.... CAUSE SHE WANTS TO PURCHASE YOUR PRODUCT. Before any of this started happenin i knew that i wouldnt get my stuff till after christmas, im not worried about that. i just want to place my order so it gets here asap. so SAGA please email/call my girl friend back. thanks. erica (hope i remembered correctly) thanks for the link and im pretty stoked on the coat.
 
here's how you tell if it is "IN Stock"
you go to the online store, if the jacket is there and available to be ordered, then it's not sold out!

 
im well aware that THE SYURP COAT IS NOT IN STOCK. i want to place an order so when they come in stock ill have my coat as soon as possible. like i said before im not stressing that i wont get my coat till after christmas. i just want saga to get on there grown man shit and return calls and emails.

i did also e-mails to saga, but without a answer. I did my order at the 12. November but i still dont have my jacket and pants. Now its out of stock but why do i not have my cloaths? I mean i did order it really soon and a friend of me did order it at the 3 december and he got his cloaths!!

Please help me i dont understand it.

 
Gotta agree with the customer service thing, as a company that should be priority #1. Every email, every phone call need to be returned ASAP, no question. In the real business world we get nuked for BS like that, people would be calling the Better Business Bureau.
 
No, he wasn't being a dick, he was simply stating the obvious. Stuff that says "sold out" won't be coming back in stock (unless they magically get more from some place, since saga don't restock) Now, stuff that says "back order" hasn't arrived yet, but and can be ordered and will be shipped when it arrives..
 
first of all learn how to make a readable sentance and spell. WHAT THE HELL DID U ORDER, if you payed attention to anyhting you would know that certain stuff has come in and certain stuff has not.
 
What the hell are you on about? You make no sense, however the post you're ragging on makes perfect sense. Maybe you should learn how to read? And spell.
 
we spoke to a customer this morning who fits the profile and item requested. looking into it a little further it looks like we got a voicemail last thursday/friday and returned the call over the weekend. by now, monday morning, i think it is resolved.
 
Just for the record calling multiple times and hanging up without leaving a voice message makes it difficult for us to locate your order info and details. It is an answering service.

Anyway, thank you all for your patience and the constructive criticism. We are nowing blowing the doors off of our shipping center from now through Christmas.
