Saga Monarch pants warm?

Looking at getting the Saga Monarch 3L pants. I know they're just a "shell", but how warm are they? I ski with a pair of long underwear underneath (patagonia capilene) but my old pants have a bit of insulation to them. Wondering if thin long underwear is enough underneath for those cold and windy december-february days. i dont get out much in the spring unfortunately, really just winter break. thanks all

i'd say you'll be fine.i have burton shell pants and i use them with reasonably thin long undies and i'm fine. and if you think your underwear is too thin, you can buy a bit thicker ones.
