Saga mits are spoonges

Last summer about this time I bought my self a pair of saga mits in deer hunter camo. And used them all of last season. At the begening they were amazing, but halfway through the season my hands would be quite wet at 12 o'clock and at 4 they were soaked. Has anyone else had this problem? Could my hands have been sweating inside the mits?

i am oddly excited for saga's response to this thread

Probably something along the lines of "Sorry to hear about that, email us and we'll see what we can do for you"

I suggest next time you buy your gloves/mittens for my gloves/mittens manufacturer instead. Swany's are great( or at least they have been for me).

My spyders were doing the same thing, I had to take them off on every lift to let my hands air dry

i just picked up a pair of swany leather gloves for this season, looking forward to trying them out. my parents have been using them forever and swear by them

dakine fillmores...

so warm, so low profile and the only times my hands get wet is when they're sweaty

My saga mittens did the same thing but I figured it was because I washed them and I had taken off any waterproof layer they had had on them? Still the most comfy kitten I've ever had

I had a pair of Filmores and the Saga Mitts and I ended up giving my Filmores away to a buddy. The Saga's are the warmest mitts I have ever put on, never had this leakage issue, but I can tell they won't last long. But I have a pair of nice Swanny Gloves for backup.

All gloves get wet, all gloves wear out. Get over it.

I've been rocking waxed leather gloves for a few seasons now and one pair of them has remained dry as a bone even through spring kicker-digging sessions where I'm throwing bricks of wet snow around for a couple of hours. The other ones do occasionally get a little bit damp but only because I haven't got them really well waxed yet.

Both are apparently nearly indestructible, although I put a split in one pair by letting them get too dry and crinkly.

All that said, they don't breathe worth a damn so my hands get super sweaty and my glove liners smell like death.
