so latley threads are getting pulled apart on my jacket and the cloth is also losing its thread and then the velcro sticks to it then pulls more threads out. so really me jacket is falling apart and i have only used it for just skiing. my friend also has a saga jacket but its not falling apart. so I was wondering if this has happened to other peoples because im pretty ticked off about this. I have also emailed saga about this problem but have got nothing yet.
 
my friend has had his and skied almost every day in it since he got it and its still minty fresh
 
well i just got the email and saga just tells me how to prevent the fibres from pulling on the fabric but what im worried about is the stiching is pulling out

 
How can you prevent it? I am experiencing the same problem... Its the only thing that annoys me on my saga jacket.
 
thats kind of gay all they did was tell you how to prevent it. i also have saga, but have had no problems with it so far, but if i did i wud be pissed if they sent an email back saying something like that. if a product is failing then they need to replace it or refund money. noone wants to ski in a shitty jacket no matter how dope it is.
 
Sagas fucking shit i have the exact same problem my suit is brand new this year and it rips so fucking easily and all my velcro is shit........repost if you get a e mail from them saying wtfs going down

Happens to every jacket with enough wear and tear.
I'm on my second season with last year's Saga and it's just now getting some loose stitching threads.
 
Yep its my first season with it and I treated it as if it was my baby (acually it is my baby) and that velcro shit annoys me so much... The material gets pulled out and it looks like Shrek pubic hair (Ecto color)... I still want to hear what Saga told you to prevent it.
 
this only happened under the cuffs on our coat. all i did was take a lighter and graze it over the fibers then pinch it down. idk if saga approves of that but thats how i made it go away.

the material they used this year, is deffenately not like anything ive seen on any other coat. it gives an amazing fit, but did they sacrifice some durability??? our set up has no problems after half a seasons use. maybe someones has torn, but its most likely an accident or you ski out of control banging your edges all over the place.

if your topsheets are chipped up i can garuntee you have cuts on any pair of pants you own.
 
my old saga is the shit. i've had it for 3 or 4 seasons and it's still going strong. but the new stuff is questionable. i don't like how thin they made it at all.
 
no really? i thought you had it before they shipped it to you...

its not saga quality. every jacket does this. velcro is made up of hooks and loops and those hooks sometimes get hooked on other stuff. in this case the hooks get hooked on the regular fabric.
 
i have been having the same problem with both my jacket and pants its really shitty, like major coming apart in some spots on the pants
