Saga, LDC, or tha G?

ur rite it is alot cheaper. howerver i think LDC is just a shell and the G suit is fully insulasted. so u get wat u pay for i guess.
 
i would have to say saga for sure because of the quality and the ability to mix and match a lot more then the other ones
 
Saga, it has 20k like the others said and the G only has 10k. and I don't really like the G suit on most people..
 
do you know that over 2k the jacket is rainproof? it's useless to get 20k cause the jacket isn't warmer or more rainproof, we you past 5k your jacket is way enough protect vs rain and snow

useless to get more than 10k and if you havent seen yet, more the k is big, less cheaper they are to buy out
 
yup^^^saga may be 20 k waterproffing but it is more of a lightweight shell material and i would think it wouldnt be as warm as a more insulated coat.
 
I have the g suit (only the coat). Size L and huge on me at 5'11 150. It feels like its really warm, and i paid 375 for it so its not that bad.
 
holy shit 375 for a fucking jacket!!! you think that is '"not that bad" i paid 420 for a whole lethal descent suit
 
first of all im from canada, so the dollar is a factor. Also, lethal descent is only a shell. The g is fully insulated. Most nice jackets for sale in local shops are upwards of that price, so thats my reasoning behind it being not bad.
 
I'm sorry, but this is just naive of you. I live in Canada and was just at three of my local ski shops and almost every jacket there is upward of about 4 to 5 hundred...So I don't see what the big fuss is about.
 
welllll considering te g suit was sold out long beofre you were born and LD just sold out i'd go with saga.
 
i saw durtchi skiin in the white suit for this coming season, looks super sick, if you want to drop the cash i would go with saga, and support a small company
 
That's just the cost of a jacket here. Not a shell, a jacket. I prefer to buy my clothes from stores anyway so I can try it on first and build up a good relationship with the shop. I work all summer too pay for all my ski gear, I don't want to order something online so I just gotta buck up and pay what a jacket costs.
