Saga jacket has gone pimply

So my Saga jacket has started getting pimples all over when it gets wet, just wondering if there is a cure for it like spraying waterproofing stuff on it, or is it totally fucked and not waterproof now?

If you dont understand, once it gets wet that area starts to rise in little circles. It dries like that as well.

get some at rei or another outdoors store. you can buy wash in kind (pour in like soap, and wash with your jacket), or spray on kind.

i prefer the wash-in type. good luck man!
 
it started to bubble up. Its happening to a pair of darkside pants I bought. I have heard that if you contact SAGA and send your jacket it they will replace it. Its worth a shot. I feel like I will be doing so with my pants. Its the only problem I have had. Take pics and write an email to their customer service and then see what they say.

Oh yeah that happens to my jacket but whatever it doesnt affect the quality of it. Its still water proof...
 
This happened to me too, the jacket gets fuzzy on the rubbing areas. I just get a lighter and burn the hairs back into the fabric. I have last years jacket prbly worked out the kinks now.

that being said, this happened to pair of pants i had a few years back, but i'm pretty sure it's relatively normal. i wouldn't worry about it unless you're getting wet under the jacket.
