Yeah, basically title.
Anyway, the long story:
2 weeks ago there was a thread dissing on Saga while talking about how great the newcomers First Drop are. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I got fucking pissed off that they talked about Saga like they were as big as Salomon and talked about First Drop as a rider run company which is new and great. While in reality Saga and First Drop are almost exactly alike, just that Saga is producing their fourth outerwear this year.
So, I wrote something along those lines in the mentioned thread. A day later a non-orange nicked person claiming he was working for Saga contacted me via PM, asking for my email because he liked how I saw the reality of things and was stoked that I backed them up with non-fanboy stuff, but the real facts. So I gave him my email. Later I got an email from a @sagaouterwear.com email and he wanted to send me a free T-shirt. And sure enough, today I got my free t-shirt and some Diecuts. stoked!
Some people will probably come here and say that Saga is rewarding people for talking sweetly about their product, and that they suck. But they didn't have to send me a free tshirt, I would've continued to support them even without getting one - But its cool that they care about the customers that care about them.
I got the Hi-Tek one by the way.
ohh, and I live in Norway - and they payed shipping and everything.
So yeah. This was a really nice thing to do Saga, thanks!
Sparknotes: people talked shit about Saga, I corrected them with real non-fanboy facts, Saga gave me a free tshirt to show a thankyou for my support. it was an awesomely epic thing to arrive in my mail.
